Berkshire Hathaway loves buyback the most 😅 As per Warren Buffett it's a sign of good management who resist institutional imparative and in case they don't have great opportunity to invest excess cash, they decides to return to its shareholders by way of dividend or share buy back.

But its a open buyback . you never know at what price they buy. It could be lesser than announced price

They have announced a corpus of Rs. 9,200 crores to be utilised for this. They will buy over 3-4 months. No fixed price or range has been announced.

Yes but knowing that company is willing to pay 1750, why are people selling at 1350. Why not keep selling at near circuit and sell for as much close to 1750 as possible?

Because the results did not come out as expected. The performance was lower. Hence the stock corrected.

Yes, useless! considering that share isn’t selling back at its 52 wk high after announcement. Not much of a reward to investors!
