Nicely put together, my take is that Amul should adhere to best practices and an independent director should be there to make sure that there is no exploitation of cows (just like we have for ESG in listed co.). Balancing the act is important.
Also society should not only focus on this issue and also should take up this matter as whole, where crores of animals being breeded and chopped off daily just for food. Taking a holistic approach will surely give good results rather than siding PETA or Amul.
