WPL’s commercial success is a far cry from IPL. Then why is BCCI even interested?
While Indian Cricket Team Men’s is the “Cash Cow”, Women’s Cricket Team is the fast growing “Question Mark”.
Although the numbers for Women’s team across formats are small today, they are growing fast.
BookmyShow has sold out tickets in Bangalore and Delhi where the matches are being held.
The craze was so high that Delhi Traffic Police announced a traffic advisory for the WPL 2024 matches at Arun Jaitley Stadium!

In the recent Asia Games(2023), Indian men won 52 medals, while women won 46 medals.
