StockEdge: Democratising Stock Market Research
An app that's giving Stock market investors an Edge!
One cannot learn about the stock markets by staying at the stands. But, in order to get into the mud, you need to be equipped with the right set of learnings and information.
With this thought in mind, the trio that started Elearnmarkets, an ed-tech company for spreading financial knowledge, started another venture, StockEdge.
Elearnmarkets structures an education journey for individuals who want to make a career in financial markets as well as for those who want to get a basic gyaan. The company was up and running, and by 2016, the founders realized that there was another void that required to be filled. To give a continuous learning experience to their learners once they step out into the real world.
And so, StockEdge seemed like a logical next step by the founders. They want to be the one-stop solution for people and meet their lifetime needs of learning finance, tracking financial markets, earning and managing money.
StockEdge gives the learners and the professionals everything that they need to analyze stocks, bonds, funds and a whole host of financial instruments in a clean and decluttered way. But, above everything else, it provides an unbiased source of information. The company has a knowledge-first approach and claims to have no incentive to boost financial transactions.
The platform currently has 13 lakh registered users (100% growth year-on-year), out of which 1 lakh users are active on the platform on a daily basis (DAU). The paid user base of the company has grown like this over the past three years:
Okay. It provides information and analysis. But, what exactly?
How are the indices performing? Which companies have paid out dividends consistently? Which companies are working on promising ideas? Which companies have had a major change in shareholding? How do you do a holistic analysis of a company? How are the biggies investing?
StockEdge gives an answer to all the questions that come to your mind while doing your research.
The company also has a community called StockEdge Club for continuous Stock Market idea sharing, learning and networking with anyone from industry peers to market superstars.
In the words of Mr. Vivek Bajaj, co-founder of StockEdge:
What Bloomberg did for institutional investors, we are building for individual investors.
With this vision, the company plans to deploy Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to make their tool even more robust and insightful for the users.
StockEdge is helping beginners enter the stock markets with knowledge, confidence and pride.
